University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine Reviews

Overview
The University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine is a 4-year MD-granting program. They only admit about 20 students per year because many of their students are enrolled in a 6-year BS/MD program. UKMC has an innovative docent system that allows for students to learn in small groups with a mentor and eventually do docent rotations. Many students regard the docent teams as their favorite part of UKMC. Students are also provided early clinical interaction. Students help with outpatient care half a day every week for three and a half years.
