The Ohio State University Secondary Application

Overview

The Ohio State University College of Medicine is a 4-year MD-granting program that welcomed its first class in 1914. OSUCOM recognizes the implicit bias that may impact admission committees and healthcare disparities. As a result, Ohio State has one of the most diverse student populations out of all US medical schools, with 26 percent being from underrepresented minorities. Students are encouraged to participate in community service and can volunteer at the Columbus Free Clinic, La Clinica Latina, and Asian Health Initiative Free Clinic. Students can also participate in a number of organizations that range from LGBTQ+ & Allies to Religious Interest Groups.
