The School of Medicine provides three different campuses, each with a specific focus. In Kansas City, students train at an academic medical center. In Wichita, the medical education is community-based. In Salina, it has a focus on rural medicine. The University of Kansas has an emphasis on improving the lives of Kansas residents. It is also home to The University of Kansas Cancer Center and the KU Alzheimer’s Disease Center.
