Overview

The University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is a 4-year MD-granting program that offers two different MD programs to students. MD Core is based in Tampa for four years, whereas MD Select requires two years in Tampa with the next two in Pennsylvania and offers a certificate in Leadership, Health Systems, and Values-Based, Patient-Centered Care. The College of Medicine offers students 11 scholarly concentrations, opportunities for student research, and a number of organizations to join.

The mission of the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida is to provide for the education of students and professionals of the health and biomedical sciences through the creation of a scholarly environment that fosters excellence in the lifelong goals of education, research activity and compassionate patient care.
