Wayne State University Secondary Application

Overview

Wayne State University School of Medicine is a 4-year MD-granting program that gives students the chance to earn their medical education in an inclusive urban setting and make an impact in the community. Wayne State has a commitment to the surrounding community, with more than 34,000 hours of community service being completed by students in their M1 and M2 years. Students can volunteer at free clinics, work with the homeless population, mentor young children, or participate in renovation in neighborhoods. The School of Medicine highly values diversity and this is visible in their many students organizations. The urban setting means the School of Medicine is in close proximity to multiple major medical centers and research centers.
