Taking the MCAT twice Strategy

Hello Everyone,

So, I am need of some honest opinions here. I have just declared the path to medicine and will be starting my journey this Fall 2017 with 2 pre-reqs while working full-time. I am thinking about scheduling my MCAT 6 months from now without any prior exposure to it. I am planning on taking the MCAT twice. I am scheduling early because I want to have something to shoot for rather than “casually study” and slack off. Now I know I probably won’t do well the first time given 6 months with no prior knowledge but I think it will be a great buffer, for my next MCAT. Now obviously, I probably will void the first one but I am going to give it my best shot. Now for the second time I take it I feel like I will definitely feel like I will be more prepared and do better.

If you guys think this is a good strategy or not let me know what you think. I would love any kind of feedback. Thanks!
