About Baylor College of Medicine

Overview​

Baylor College of Medicine is a 4-year MD-granting program that welcomed its first class in 1900. Baylor has had their 18-month Foundational Curriculum for over 30 years. It begins with the first few months being basic sciences, followed by the organ systems. The curriculum provides early clinical exposure and small-group settings to learn in. Being a Baylor student gives you access to the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical complex in the world. Baylor is committed to making sure students pursue their passions. This includes providing opportunities to choose from 1,400 rotations in over 30 countries, pathways for specialization, and research opportunities with renowned faculty.
