Overview

Harvard Medical School is a 4-year MD-granting program and one of the oldest medical schools in the United States. Harvard’s MD program has two curricular tracks, Pathways and Health Sciences & Technology (HST). The Pathways programs offers earlier clinical experience and allows each student to choose a scholarly project to customize their pathway to their MD degree. The HST pathway is to prepare students for a career in biomedical research or molecular science. HMS offers students the ability to carry out research in basic and clinical sciences.
