Overview
The Mercer University School of Medicine is a 4-year MD-granting program that offers students a four-year curriculum at its Macon and Savannah campuses, along with a third- and fourth-year curriculum at its Columbus campus. The curriculum is centered around the mission of providing healthcare to rural and underserved Georgia. More than 80 percent of Mercer graduates practice in rural or underserved areas, and more than 60 percent of graduates practice in the state of Georgia.

To educate physicians and health professionals to meet the primary care and health care needs of rural and medically underserved areas of Georgia.
