Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine is a 4-year DO-granting program that welcomed its first class in 1974. Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine is committed to small class sizes so students have the opportunity for one-on-one learning. OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine is focused on educating primary care physicians, and over 67 percent of graduates practice in primary care. More than 50 percent of graduates stay in Oklahoma to practice, and about 25 percent practice in smaller communities. Students at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine are involved in their communities, working at health fairs and schools. They also have a mobile telemedicine clinic and brand new simulation center that are integrated into their curriculum.
