The University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine is a 4-year DO-granting program that produces graduates who are committed to serving rural Kentucky and other Appalachian regions. The College of Osteopathic Medicine is committed to making sure all students have a level playing field as they enter medical school. Therefore, KYCOM provides an OPP table, white coat, scrub suit, diagnostic equipment, laptop, iPad, textbooks, membership dues, and exam fees. KYCOM has multiple core rotation sites throughout the region, with most in Kentucky but some in Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia.

The mission of the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM) is to provide men and women with an osteopathic medical education that emphasizes primary care, encourages research, promotes lifelong scholarly activity, and produces graduates who are committed to serving the health care needs of communities in rural Kentucky and other Appalachian regions.

Right now, Carlos Tapia, former Director of Admissions at TCU and former Director of Student Affairs at Icahn Mount Sinai, and Courtney Lewis, former Director of Admissions at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine are the two advisor who have remaining availability. Both are experts at helping their students get into great medical schools across the country, both MD and DO! Dr. Crispen and Deana Golini are available on a case-by-case basis for 20-hour package students. Remember, we're a small team and everyone on the team has amazing admissions experience and a proven track record of getting students into med schools across the country!
