How does it work?
Once your draft is ready, select the essay package based on the character count of your essay(s), including spaces. Any unused characters will roll over and be applied to any additional edits. Additional edits are offered at a 20% discount.
What is the turnaround time?
After you have submitted your essay, please allow up to 4 business days to receive written or screen-recorded feedback. Need something sooner? When you submit, you can request a 48-hour rush turnaround. There is a $100 fee for the rush service.

When do I get my essay back?
What if my essay exceeds the number of characters I purchased?
You will have the option to:
- Receive edits up to the number of characters you’ve purchased.
- Purchase additional characters.
What if I don't use all of my purchased characters in one submission?

What is the difference between this and Application Academy?
These essay editing packages are private, one-on-one sessions/reviews with one of our premier medical school application experts.
Application Academy is a program that we love because of the amazing value it provides students. The most significant difference is that it’s group advising. The same experts doing 1-on-1, private sessions are there to host office hours several times a week, but you’re not guaranteed one-on-one time. There is an option to purchase Application Academy with a couple of hours of individual time if that is something that interests you as well.
Does MSHQ offer a military discount?
