Podcast Preparation Material
Thank you very much for agreeing to have a discussion with me. I’m excited to feature you!
Before we start, I wanted to share helpful tips that will not only keep our conversation relevant, entertaining, and concise but also easy to digest for the listeners.
I will be on Riverside.fm and add you to the recording session at our schedule time. We will be recording video as well, so please make sure your location is okay for video.
At the end of the interview, let’s take a few minutes to explore what I can do to help you, and how we might work together.
Please keep in mind that our audience is primarily premed students.
This interview is meant to be conversational. Please feel free to talk to the listeners as if they were present.
Notes
Interview Length: The interview will be as long as it needs to be. Most last about 25-40 minutes, but please allow 45-60 for pre-launch and debrief.
I do not provide a list of questions. I like having open conversations and allowing it to go where it needs to go to get good information out for the students.
My goals for our interview:
- Introduce you to our audience as we share your story
- Provide our listeners with practical advice
- Be conversational
Please check that cell phones, reminders, notifications, etc. are turned off.
We’ll confirm name pronunciations before we begin.
The Tech Stuff
The best connection to the internet is wired to your router. Wi-fi is okay, just make sure you are in a good spot for it.
If you are an Apple computer user, using your smartphone headset gives great audio quality. You can plug it right into the computer.
