Application Academy Course
To be eligible for a refund, students must meet the following requirements:
- The request for a refund must be made within sixty (60) calendar days of purchase. Requests should be made to email@example.com.
- Students who are asked to leave class due to disruptive behavior are not eligible for a refund.
- Orders are non-transferable.
- Refunds will be processed with the following guidelines:
- 0 - 15 days from the date of purchase, 100% refund minus a $25 processing fee
- 16 - 30 days from the date of purchase, 75% refund minus a $25 processing fee
- 31-60 days from the date of purchase, 50% refund minus a $25 processing fee
- 61+ days from purchase date, no refunds
Application Academy Course Extensions
There are no refunds for these items. All sales are final.
1-on-1 Advising Products including Hourly Advising Sessions, Application Cycle Advising, and Premed Pathway
- Advising Hours expire 12 months from the date of purchase. After 30 days from purchase, advising hours will not be refunded.
- Our hope is to make a great advisor match and have you stay with that person for the entirety of your program. It does sometimes happen that the match made needs to be reconsidered. If you’re not happy with your advising service for any reason, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re happy to work with you to find a better solution, including a rematch to a new advisor if needed.
- The refund policy before advising has begun is as follows:
- Within seven (7) calendar days after the purchase date, advising hourly is 100% refundable minus a $25 processing fee if no hours are used.
- After 30 days of purchase, no refunds or credits will be given.
- The refund policy once advising has begun is as follows:
- Refunds will not be given for advising hours already provided.
- Refund requests can be submitted to email@example.com within 30 days but after 30 days, no refunds will be given.
- All refunds will have a $25 processing fee.
- Orders are non-transferable
- If a student decides to defer to the next cycle, any remaining hours may be granted an additional year to use. No guarantee can be given to be matched with the same advisor for the next cycle.
Essay Feedback Services
There are no refunds for these items. All sales are final. Orders are non-transferable and expire after 12 months. If essays are not submitted 15 minutes prior to the scheduled session, this is considered a no-show for written feedback. No refunds will be given for no-shows and the session will be forfeited.
Interview Preparation Services
There are no refunds for these items. All sales are final. Orders are non-transferable and expire after 12 months. If you are greater than 15 minutes late to your appointment, it will be counted as a no-show. No refunds will be given for no-shows and the session will be forfeited.
If you have an active credit card charge dispute, account access will be revoked.
Terms of Service and Additional Service Policies:
Video Session Late/No-Show Policy:
If you are greater than 15 minutes late to a scheduled video session, it will be counted as a no-show and no refund will be given. A session may be rescheduled one time if provided 24 hours advance notice. Any additional no-show will result in a forfeit of the service. No-shows will not be refunded. If you need to reschedule your session, use the “Reschedule/Cancel” button in your appointment confirmation. If you are unable to find an alternative time, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your availability and time zone. We respect your time, and we respect our advisors’ time as well. A 24-hour advance notification must be given in order to reschedule your session or your session will be forfeited.
Booking Sessions with Advisors:
You are limited to the number of sessions you purchased with your advising/essay feedback/interview preparation by the package you purchased. If you book additional sessions beyond the amount you purchased, your card on file will be charged for any overbooking beyond what you purchased. If the card on file can not be charged, your session may be canceled. If you wish to be charged using a different card, please reach out to us at email@example.com
