Gaby Loredo brings nearly a decade of experience in medical school admissions, having worked with thousands of applicants through the highly competitive medical school application process. She spent almost ten years in admissions between Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she developed deep insight into how medical schools evaluate candidates and select future physicians.
At Dell Medical School, Gaby was part of the inaugural admissions team, helping establish admissions operations at the first medical school built at a Tier One research university in nearly 50 years. In this foundational role, she reviewed applications, facilitated interview days, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the selection process by supporting admissions committee deliberations. She later continued her work at Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she further expanded her impact. In this role, she served as a subject matter expert for the admissions committee, providing critical context and expertise on program specific alignment during their selection deliberations. Across both institutions, Gaby reviewed thousands of applications and collaborated closely with faculty and admissions leaders, giving her a unique perspective on what distinguishes successful applicants.
Gaby enjoys helping aspiring physicians navigate every stage of the application process from building a strong pre-med foundation to crafting compelling personal statements and preparing for interviews. She is passionate about mentoring students and empowering them to tell their stories with authenticity and confidence. She believes that successful applicants are those who clearly communicate their motivations for medicine, demonstrate a strong mission fit, and show a genuine commitment to serving others.
In addition to her work in medical school admissions, Gaby has also served as an application reviewer for Boston College Law School, further expanding her experience evaluating competitive graduate and professional school applicants.
