William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine is a 4-year DO granting program. It is a community-based medical school with an emphasis on primary care and the underserved. The location of WCUCOM provides students the opportunity to reside in an area commended for its high livability and to explore many outdoor activities. William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine uses a Five-Column Model for their curriculum. They have a tradition where students sign in at their white coat ceremony and then sign out when they graduate.

The mission of the William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCUCOM) is to prepare men and women to become osteopathic physicians through an emphasis on primary care, lifelong learning, research and scholarly activities, and service, including osteopathic clinical service and graduate medical education. Using a community-based training model, the COM will educate and train graduates who are committed to serving the healthcare needs of all individuals, with special attention directed to the medically underserved and diverse populations of the state, region, and nation.

The Vision of WCUCOM is to be the foundational pillar for scholarly excellence in osteopathic medicine in Mississippi and the Gulf South Region.

Dr. Crispen and Deana Golini are available on a case-by-case basis for 20-hour package students.
