Nick is passionate about helping students overcome the final hurdle on their journey to medicine by building both confidence and strong test-taking skills. His favorite part of teaching is helping students reach those breakthrough “Aha” moments—when patterns start to click, reasoning improves, and the exam begins to feel less intimidating.

His biggest MCAT advice? Practice, practice, practice. While content knowledge matters, the MCAT heavily rewards reasoning, passage analysis, and learning how to think through questions the way the test makers intend. Nick encourages students to incorporate practice resources like UWorld early in their prep, complete daily CARS passages, and focus on recognizing patterns in AAMC logic rather than relying on memorization alone.

Fun fact: Nick was previously featured on ESPN’s Top 10 Plays. Outside of teaching, he enjoys staying active with pickleball, basketball, and baseball, and spending time with his partner and two cats.
