Trevi loves helping students transform their perspective on the MCAT—from an intimidating obstacle into a challenging, strategic game that mirrors the kind of thinking required in medical school. His favorite part of tutoring is watching students grow into confident test-takers who can think like the exam writers, anticipate what a passage is really testing, and approach questions with strategy instead of stress.
His top advice for MCAT students is that reviewing your completed practice questions is even more important than simply doing them. True improvement happens through reflection, analysis, and understanding both what went right and what needs to change. If he could do his own prep differently, he’d commit to daily CARS practice five days a week to consistently sharpen critical reading and reasoning skills.
Trevi helps students reach those “Aha” moments by first having them work through passages independently and explain their reasoning before offering his own perspective. By comparing thought processes and working collaboratively until they’re aligned in how they approach passages and questions, he helps students develop deeper confidence and stronger test-taking instincts. Outside of tutoring, Trevi enjoys board game nights with his medical school friends, powerlifting, and playing music—including guitar, bass, and piano.
