Overview
Harvard Medical School is a 4-year MD-granting program and one of the oldest medical schools in the United States. Harvard’s MD program has two curricular tracks, Pathways and Health Sciences & Technology (HST). The Pathways programs offers earlier clinical experience and allows each student to choose a scholarly project to customize their pathway to their MD degree. The HST pathway is to prepare students for a career in biomedical research or molecular science. HMS offers students the ability to carry out research in basic and clinical sciences. Harvard values health and wellness and many different enrichment opportunities.
