The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine - Bradenton is a 4-year DO-granting program that is a part of the largest medical college in the U.S. and the only osteopathic Academic Health Center. LECOM wants to train compassionate physicians who care for the whole-person. The Lakewood Ranch Community is a growing area and is close to Sarasota, which is known as Florida’s Cultural Coast.
The mission of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine is to prepare students to become osteopathic physicians, pharmacy practitioners, and dentists through programs of excellence in education, research, clinical care, and community service to enhance the quality of life through improved health for all humanity.
