Morehouse School of Medicine Reviews
The Morehouse School of Medicine is a 4-year MD-granting program that is dedicated to diversity and increasing the number of students who have come from underrepresented backgrounds in medicine. The School of Medicine curriculum is centered around meeting the needs of the underserved. Morehouse begins clinical experience in the first year, along with service-learning and community service. Most clinical instruction takes place at Grady Memorial Hospital, which is the only level I trauma center within a 100-mile radius of Atlanta.
The mission of the Morehouse School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program is to lead the creation and advancement of health equity by empowering and educating the next generation of physician assistants to achieve academic, personal, and professional success and become committed life-long learners who will provide compassionate, high quality, patient-centered care to meet the primary health care needs of the urban and rural underserved populations in Georgia and the nation.
