Overview
Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine is a 4-year MD-granting program. The School of Medicine is a partnership between Oakland University and Beaumont Health. Students have the opportunity to complete their clinical training at one of three Beaumont hospitals: Royal Oak (Level I Trauma Center), Troy (one of the nation’s highest volume community hospitals), or Grosse Pointe (acquired in 2007). OUWB School of Medicine values holistic physician development and believes in the transmission of medical education and service from one generation to another. They have a strong focus on helping students succeed while maintaining work-life balance. Throughout the school year, there are workshops and programs available to help students.
