Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine is a 4-year DO-granting program that welcomed its first class in 1977. Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine is committed to creating an environment where students feel supported and everyone works together to reach the goal of serving patients. Rowan is committed to service-learning and their community. This is shown through their student-run Health Center, OMM Clinic, and Healthy Lifestyle Center. Many describe the school as a family, and students feel the faculty are accessible to them and willing to help. Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine gives students the option to pick between a traditional curriculum or a Problem-Based-Learning (PBL) track. That way students can pick what works best for them.

The Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine is dedicated to providing excellence in both undergraduate and graduate medical education, research and health care for New Jersey and the nation.

An emphasis on primary health care and community health services reflects the School’s osteopathic philosophy, with specialty care and centers of excellence demonstrating our commitment to innovation and quality in all endeavors.
