Overview
The University of Michigan School of Medicine is a 4-year MD-granting program that was the first medical school to own and run its own hospital. The curriculum offers M-Home, which offers students small group settings and the chance to be paired with a faculty coach. Within the first month, students engage in clinical experiences and are given opportunities to address healthcare challenges of interest. In addition, University of Michigan has a high amount of research funding, allowing students to explore their research interests.
