Overview

The University of Minnesota Medical School (Twin Cities) is a 4-year MD-granting program that welcomed its first class in 1888. The University of Minnesota has two different campuses, each with a different admissions office and a different emphasis. The Twin Cities campus provides students with a dedicated faculty mentor during medical school. The curriculum gives students time to pursue their own interests, including research, with over 20 research centers and institutes for students. U of M Medical School has over 24 hospitals and over 30 clinical training sites, as well.
